After reporting about Cliff Ennico cohosting a game show called Money Hunt, I received a long letter from Cliff filling us in on the latest. I decided to reprint Cliffs letter, abbreviating only the section on Money Hunt, since I think many classmates will find this interesting, and my paraphrasing could never do justice to the letter!

"A lot has happened in the past year. I left the Hartford, Conn., law firm of Pepe & Hazard, where I was a corporate partner, at the end of last year so that I could pursue a long-held dream of an entrepreneurial career involving writing, publishing, and media activities.

"While I still maintain an active solo law practice representing entrepreneurs and small in New York and Connecticut, a growing portion of my time is spent on two entrepreneurial projects of my own.

"First, over the past several years I have written a number of books for lawyers and law students on career management and other 'people skills' not taught in law school. My latest release is a four-hour audio recording titled 'Managing Your Legal Career: Finding Success and Satisfaction in the Legal Profession,' a Dale Carnegie course of sorts for young lawyers. With the help of Leading Authorities Inc., a college/university speakers' bureau based in Washington, D.C., I will be launching a nationwide speaking tour of law schools and bar associations this fall and winter to promote 'Managing Your Legal Career.'

"Second, I've somehow managed to make myself into a television celebrity. Two years ago a venture capital client and I began hosting a local cable TV show in Fairfield County, Conn., just to let off some steam and have some fun. Today, Money Hunt is being touted as the up-andcoming show for entrepreneurs, investors, and anyone interested in small business. This fall it will appear on virtually every station in the PBS network, including WNET Channel 13 in New York, which will air the show on Saturday mornings beginning September 6.

"I don't know where all of this is heading, but I'm having the time of my life, probably the most fun I've had since I was at Dartmouth. On top of it all, I'm president of the Dartmouth Club of Bridgeport, Conn., and work closely with fellow '75s Bob Bernasek and Bob Berry III to keep a small but active club (someone once told me it's the oldest one in the countrytrue?) going.

"I recently re-established contact after many years with Bill Carney, a fellow philosophy major at Dartmouth with whom I had the honor of sharing a drafty, earlynineteenth-century mansion (right out of Jane Austen) in Edinburgh, Scotland, on the philosophy department's foreign study program in fall term 1973 (neither of us, to my recollection, developed a taste for kilts; single malt, on the other hand...). Interestingly enough, it was the family we stayed with in Edinburgh who helped put us back in touch with each other after more than 20 years.

"Occasionally, I see my wife, Dolores, who manages the nationwide marketing effort for pool chemical products for Olin Corp. in Norwalk, Conn. She works easily twice as hard as I do, and travels about as much. She, and my nephew and niece (5 and 3 years old, respectively), are what make it all worthwhile.

"Would like to hear news of Gil Hahn,Doug White, and any other '75 veterans of The Dartmouth and WDCR."

Stay in touch.
