If his high school teaching gig doesn't work out, Ben Hill showed promise as a contender on the professional karaoke at a gathering the night before the lovely wedding of Stu Jordan and Jessica West. He was periodically joined at the microphone by Brad Molyneaux, Lindsay Page, Tina Rutar, John Kaufman, Jamie Shandro, Pete Lanfer, Matt Sweet and '97s Jen Ratay, Pete Guinn, Dave Miller and Jim Hourdequin. The wedding ceremony, held on a of Stu Jordan and Jessica West. He was periodically joined at the microphone by Brad Molyneaux, Lindsay Page, Tina Rutar, John Kaufman, Jamie Shandro, Pete Lanfer, Matt Sweet and '97s Jen Ratay, Pete Guinn, Dave Miller and Jim Hourdequin. The wedding ceremony, held on a drizzly Saturday evening in Bethesda, Maryland, was intimate and beautiful, with Stu and Jessica speaking vows they wrote themselves.

Dan Godfrey wrote me with an extensive story about how he met the man who invented the Swedish Chef. Apparently, the chef, who "never met a beer he didn't like," had a deal with 20 th century Fox to do a cooking show and got so nervous during the live taping that when the cameras rolled "he began babbling incoherently and throwing food everywhere." Jim Henson remembered the show and based the Muppet character on it. What else Dan is up to, he gave me no clue.

Mona Gupta hosted a President's Day weekend reunion in Little Rock, Arkansas, with Dartmouth friends flocking from around the continent—Marisa Howe from San Fran, Beth Haas from Cleveland, Meg Blakey from Boston, Amy Feldmann from St. Louis and Diana Bullen from New York. Mona caved and took them to BJ's Star-Studded Honky Tonk, where Meg taught them the latest line dance and Diana scared away the persistent cowboys with her New York contempt. Mona notes that Beth announced her engagement to Keith Laschinger; the couple plans a December wedding. Marisa is off to NYU Law School this fall. Meg toils for Thomson Financial and will represent them in Paris and Amsterdam in May. Amy just finished herfirst year of med school at Washington University, while Beth has been working for KeyCorp in their private equity division. Diana is enrolling at Syracuse this autumn for her master's in art history, which requires her to spend much time in Florence, Italy. Mona sent me all these updates just before setting off cross-country with Amy on a trip that included stops to visit Meghan Pound in Santa Fe and Randi Barnes and Alex Prinstein in Los Angeles.

Marlene Sheehan writes from California to say that she wed Andres Dandier '97 in Dana Point, California, on June 24 in a gazebo overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Marlene is obtaining her masters degree in traditional Chinese medicine in San Diego, where the couple lives. Dandier is a design engineer who designs telescopes. The new couple will be known as Marlene Dandier and Andres Sheehan Dandier, respectively.

Zach Segal penned a detailed blurb about the 16 Green alums who descended on the Hanover Country Club on June 17 for the inaugural Dartmouth Annual. "Enduring a brief bout with extreme New England weather, coupled with errant Grant Chang drives, the triumvirate of P.J. Halas, Bill Curran and Scott Martin surfaced atop a highly competitive leader board. Following the trophy presentation overlooking the 18 th green, the classmates convened at the AD House Porch for a barbeque spearheaded by Marc Cohen and Andrew Bonnes. Curran and Marc Yasuda co-chaired a pong tournament in which Jon Gafael and I successfully combated the aggressively inconsistent play of Cohen and Adam Weigold in a closely contested twilight final. Other participants included Marc Grabowski, J. Christopher Egan, Todd Nova and Todd Loughrey—all of whom sported T-shirts thanks to tournament committee co-chair James King."
