The board members of the Arts and Sciences Graduate Alumni Association at Dartmouth (ASGAAD) are pleased to announce that their second annual conference and reunion will be held on Homecoming Weekend, October 19-20. Our keynote speaker for the lunch on Friday is Willem Lange, beloved local writer and regular commentator on Vermont Public Radio. We have also scheduled a writing workshop, with MALS creative writing professors Barbara Kreiger and Alan Lelchuk; roundtable discussions on health care and medical ethics; and a session on education and technology. We invite you to attend the annual ASGAAD meeting and would like you to consider joining the board as a member. After the meeting we have planned a Friday evening reception for alumni and faculty. Activities on Saturday include a repeat of our popular tailgate party and a guided hike for those of you who would rather commune with nature or burn a few calories than watch football. On Saturday evening both CECS and MALS are holding reunion dinners. If you have not yet registered for any or all of these events and wish to participate, please contact the Graduate Studies Office at (603) 646-1743.
