A nice note from Dan Marshall '38 advising that his brother Ed Marshall just had his 90th birthday. He has all his faculties except, as he says, "I'm a little slower." Ed—if it means anything, so are we all. He cares for his wife, who had bad strokes several years ago, working with her on exercises, etc. He is retired and lives on Cape Cod at Yarmouth Port.

Outside of our mini-reunion, I didn't see many '34s at our football games this fall, which ended in a disappointing 2 and 8 season. I hope next year will be betterwith a seasoned backfield and excellent young receivers. Much will depend on our offensive and defensive lines and linebackers—if they develop, we could be a mild threat. We did see Marge and Stan Smoyer at the Yale game. Stan remarked: "I could hearyou, but I couldn't see you." Also ran into Mary Engelman at that game—husband Bob was there, but in a different location. We did see Gerry and Em Day at one of the games, but no more '34s. We missed the Princeton game this year, which was only the second Princeton game we have missed in the last 50 years or so.

We have added two great-grandchildren to our family, making a total of five. Our complete family now is 28—we still have some to go to catch the Engelmans, who a year or two ago totaled 34.
