Thanks to you guys and gals who sent us Christmas cards, which we very much appreciated receiving. It was nice to have heard from you. Jack Tobin has recuperated nicely from his fall and he and Bobby are already looking forward to our next mini, nine months away. Falls seem to be prevalent these days—Len Harrison fell after Thanksgiving and spent a month in the skilled nursing facility in Kendal and has now recovered from his broken collarbone. His wife, Jean, is coming along as well as can be expected.
"Shorty" and Kay Thomas are both well and happy. At last reports he was still teaching, I believe in Cheshire, Connecticut. I wonder if he still is? Irva and Bill Wilson left for Florida before the holidays and are enjoying seeing their old friends whom they missed last year. Jeff Jackson, all the way from New Mexico, advises he has no news to report other than Van Thome's wife, Irene, passed away this past summer. Marge and Bob Griffin were sorry to have missed our last mini but hope to make our next one. And from Bill Judd, who concludes with, "at least we beat Princeton" and beat them we did—one of the most exciting last quarters we have ever seen. We will be leaving for Florida shortly and are looking forward to lunching with Anne Shea, widow of our late classmate "Babe." With regrets we advise of the deaths of Art Grimes and John Bathrick.
