Get out your calendars: the 35 th reunion is coming; it occurs October 17-20, 2002. Highlights will include the dedication of the Class of 1967 Memorial Grove on Occom Pond, tours of the new Berry Library, seminars on retirement and dinner at Dowd's Inn in Lyme. Bruce Pacht is the reunion chairman. Make your own reservations at Dowd's Inn in Lyme, Alden's Inn in Lyme, or Breakfast on the Connecticut in Lyme. While I was watching PBS on arms control, John Issacs appeared on a panel representing the Council fora Livable World. Since 1978 John has been the representative for the council in Washington, D.C. His former work includes serving as: principal foreign affairs legislative assistant to Rep. Solarz (D-NY); legislative representative specializing in foreign policy and defense budget issues for Americans for Democratic Action; and foreign service officer serving 18 months in Vietnam. John earned a masters degree from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University in 1969.

Clemson Page Jr. has authored a work on the Pennsylvania coal region. Clem is an attorney who practices primarily in Berks County. He is a graduate of Villanova Law School in 1977, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam era, and a former reporter and editor for the former PhiladelphiaEvening & Sunday Bulletin. Interest in the coal region can be traced to his family living in the area. Clem continues mastering the Highland bagpipe in his leisure time.

Stephen Pond is aTorreyPines Research Fellow, specializing in inkjet technology. He joined Torrey Pines of Carlsbad, California, in 1998 after a 26-year career in research and development at Xerox in Rochester, New York. He earned a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Illinois in 1971. Steve has closely monitored inkjet patent activity since 1977, is a registered agent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and holds 21 electronic marking patents. He is the author of Inkjet Technology and Product Development Strategies. The information was submitted by wife Johanna, who felt it would be nice to share her pride in Steves accomplishments. Other spouses are encouraged to submit notes about classmates who are too quiet or shy to write.
