It is with great personal sadness that I write you that Kenneth P. McDonough, the father of my husband, Dick '52, died peacefully on May 24 at the age of 97 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Dad had a wonderful long life and had an intellectual and caring influence not only on his four children and 13 grandchildren but also on his many great-grandchildren. We were so pleased that he was able to make his 75 th reunion last year. We shall miss him greatly. It is also with sadness that I report the death of Harold E. Rider on June 3 in Naples, Florida, aged 99. He was a banker who spent his career in Connecticut and was quite involved in philanthropy. His son Donald '51 informed us of his fathers death. The class extends its sympathy to both families. Obituaries, written by our last known remaining graduate, Rad Tanzer, will follow soon.
Rad, the class's youngest graduate (he's only 95) continues to enjoy life with his wife, Sheila, in Hanover in the summer and fall and Florida the remainder of the year. They both enjoy going so the gym and working in their lovely garden; they celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary in June. Please, if there are any more classmates out there, do let me know.
