"Who was doing what in 1975? No need to consult the archives. Thanks to the diligent labors of Bob and Bea Harris, we can look back at the caring and humorous reports of our own Fritz Hier. For 30 years he covered our career moves, reunions and various ephemeral activities, whether we were assembled, visiting Cornish Flats or serving in some lonely outpost. And, yes, he reported a few tragedies: those who died much too young, those who lost children in accidents. Fritz did his column nine times a year, with great style and blessings.

Want to look at where we've all been, and reminisce about the achievements and misadventures of your college buddies? Bob still has copies available of "Mr. Dartmouth," the creative writings of Frederick L. Hier. Just send a check for $25 (which all goes to the Fritz Hier Room Fund) to Bob Harris, 293 Hurd Road, Aurora, OH 44202.

At the end of December we lost Bill Craig, a huge contributor to the history of our class. Just a few years ago he received a much-deserved Alumni Award, and the testament to his contributions was written by Fritz, of course.

"If one thinks of you as a Tree That Grows (Grew Up) in Brooklyn, you have been an oak of a fellow all your life. You have branched in wide directions and, happily for us, much of the green in your good blue blood has been related to Dartmouth." Fritz pointed out that Bill served 24 years as class agent, 17 years as treasurer and was reunion chairman, club officer in Dayton and Hanover and a member of multiple college fund committees. In summary, Fritz described Bill as "a man of intellect, integrity and enterprise." We'd only add that we'll sure miss his warm greeting on trips to Hanover.

Give a farewell salute to other classmates who left us last winter: Bob Blair, John Billington, Brad Campbell, Jim Elliott, Gerry Girard, John Sterling and Dick Warren.

Stay well! Stay with it!
