Our 55th reunion scheduled for June 10-12 promises to be low key and enjoyable for all who attend. Bob Kirsch and his committee have outdone themselves again. In delayed news we learn that Julie Sayer ran for the board of representatives, District 16, in Stamford, Connecticut. No word on the outcome of the election. Hugh Chapin has been active in the planning and was recently named as chairman of the board of directors of Galloway Ridge, a retirement community in Pittsboro, North Carolina. The facility is now under construction. Hugh and Joan did travel through the Canadian Rockies in August, hitting several of the ski areas—Sun Peaks, Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff and on to Whistler and cities of Victoria and Vancouver. They were excited about the scenery. From the length of this article, it is apparent that we need more news for publication. A group that has been reluctant to provide information is the number of medical doctors from within our class. The class officers meetings are scheduled for September 12-14 in Hanover. Items of concern to class members should be forwarded to the appropriate officers for consideration in the fall. Joe Hayes will be contacting class members concerning our fall minireunion, scheduled for November 1-2, at the Norwich Inn in conjunction with Homecoming Weekend and the Dartmouth-Harvard football game. In addition to the class meeting at our June reunion, there will be an open meeting of the executive committee and all interested persons at the November gathering in Norwich.
