Three baby boys to announce in this column—my very last for the Alumni Magazinel
Larson Kenneth Preisser, son of Ken and Joanne Benisch Preisser, arrived March 4, weighing in at 7 pounds, 13 ounces. Joanne reports that he has lots of blond hair, just like his daddy. Joanne is on leave from her job as a litigator for a New York City firm.
Connor Michael Eck made his way into the world on March 22, surprising parents Mike and Kristin Ward Eck about 10 days early. He was 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and Kristin says he is a "miniMike," also resembling his papa. Kristin and Mike recently moved to Doylestown, Pennsylvania, where they both combine working from home and commuting into N.Y.C., their old stomping grounds. Kristin is the associate publisher for an educational book publishing firm, Rosen Publishing.
Finally, I'm thrilled to announce that my son, Benjamin Floyd Williams, was born just a day before Connor on March 21. The ox baby of the group, he was 8 pounds, 14 ounces and my husband, Quent, and I are not exactly sure who he looks like. Kinda like his sister Kaylin's baby pictures, I guess. For the next year or so I plan to be a full-time mommy to Kaylin, who's 2, and Ben. I'm hoping to get back into freelance writing and editing eventually, but right now my days are full of diapers, spit-up, play-doh and Blues Clues.
Thanks for sending me news these past six years. I've had a blast writing this column, and I hope you've enjoyed reading it, too!
