It's time to hear from the ladies. Helen lost Frank McGuire 20 years ago but is still living in New London, Connecticut, in their first house, which they bought in 1935. A son, who practiced law with Frank, lives nearby. Helen has 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She attended our 50th reunion dinner the year a grandson graduated. Ginna (Nathan "Bo") Wentworth last year moved into a Naples, Florida, retirement residence to join Jack Whitcomb's wife, Laura, who has made her feel at home. She reports that she is in good health, has resumed bridge, takes exercycle classes, works in a Nature Conservancy shop and reads to first-graders in a migrant workers' community.

Rhoda (John McLane) Clark reports that she is in good health also. Her favorite hobby is gardening. Her resume shows Vassar '34 with major in geology and minor in paleontology. She was shocked when her esteemed professor confessed that 50 years earlier her first field trip to upper Michigan was also his first. She enjoyed mountain climbing, reaching the peaks of most of the White Mountains. An early skier, she continued cross-country until a few years ago. First John and then she was the publisher of the Claremont Daily Eagle. She served on the New Boston planning board and while chairperson had proposed a 2-acre minimum zoning ordinance, adopted and still in effect. Rhoda, with seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, is happy that she raised and educated her five children as John would have desired.

Mini reunion: Hanover, November 1-2-Harvard game.
