Various viruses and worms of the cyber type have hindered the execution of this column. Coupled with a dearth of news—someone must have something to report—I am left with only that which the College has sent me via snail mail.
Fortunately, three of our classmates were responsible for "liberating" the College from the strictures of its original British Crown charter. The College reported that New Hampshire state senators Andy Peterson and Clifton Below were cosponsors of the home rule bill, while Annie McLane Kuster provided "invaluable guidance."
Thanks to their efforts, henceforth the College will be able to amend its own charter in the same manner as other nonprofits. Previously, changes could only be effected with the approval of the state legislature.
I hope everyone noticed all the awards garnered by our class, our head agent Kevin Hoffman and 25th reunion giving chair Steve Mandel. The stellar performance of our class was largely due to Kevin and Steves phenomenal leadership.
Nothing else to report. Please send news.
