A variety of communications received by Bob McDonald at the time of our reunion have been forwarded to us and, even though they maybe somewhat dated, we think it appropriate to pass on excerpts to the class.

Paul Zamecnik regretted his and Marys in- ability to attend, but said, "We continue to share with you and our classmates happy and unforgettable memories of a place of special enchantment." Babe Fox complimented Bobs program planning and applauded "the hardy souls who were able to make it to Hanover."

Ruth Beebe spoke of Gils marvelous career as a radiation epidemiologist (he had died only two months before reunion, having worked up to two days before his death) and the honors that had been paid him by the scientific community, including his memorial symposium.

Bob Wilson approved the hiring of a stretch limousine for reuners who were "not able to walk very far," and described his contentment among the many amenities of his Palm City, Florida, retirement community.

Mary Woodman characterized herself as saddened by John's passing after a 70-year "union," but "being a thrifty New Englander," suggested dropping John's name from the subscription lists to "save a few cents." Incidentally, this thoughtful suggestion fits in with the review of desired mag subscriptions recommended by our treasurer. Peggy (Sayre) Marshall could not make it to reunion because she was being honored for community service at the same time, but she arrived later and was touched to find that we had been holding our meetings in the Ford Sayre Room of the Inn.
