Holidays long gone but whereveryou were, doing whatever, my wish is that you enjoyed. As I write 'tis the time when many are on the move. I tried Paul Malinosky, Harvey White, LarryWeisman, Dr. John Murray and Art O'Hara, all in Florida, and all not available. And I couldn't get you, Hank Kruschwitz, and you're only in Pennsylvania! But I did speak to George Hopkins in Harbour Ridge, Flordia. George, has been a Floridian for 19 years, after years with Massachusetts Mutual Life. George, enjoying retirement and the game of golf, lives in the same area as O'Hara and White. Ed Linsley is also in Florida and I did catch up with him. He's been in Sarasota for eightyears. Prior to that he was a California banker and when he moved to Florida he took his 50-foot boat with him. How'd he do that?

Ask him. Quite a story. Ed doing volunteer work at the Ringling Museum and hobbying at woodwork and model trains. Ah, the versatility of 1946ers! Some folks still up north and that includes Andy Murtha, no longer in Far Hills but Ship Bottom on the lovely New Jersey coast. He's retired and enjoying the ocean view. A bit farther north is John Potter. Still in Providence, Rhode Island, enjoying his grandchildren and beating most everyone playing bridge. Vacations not far from Hanover in his place near Lake Mascoma. Wayne Frerichs wrote to me. He had learned of the death of Ed Attix last summer. Recalled that he and Ed had been roommates at Dartmouth Medical School way back when. Wayne is a retired eye physician (can't spell the technical name). Recently back from Alaska, a real frontier he says. But not his native Arizona with 5 million people. Thank you for writing, Wayne.

Ralph Smith forwarded me the notice in TheNew York Times that Eugene A. Cafiero had died. He had a long business career, including presidency of the Chrysler Corp. He died in Naples, Flordia. We extend our deep sympathy to his family.
