Greetings! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and was able to spend time with friends and families. Here in North Carolina, news of classmates is thin at best, so I'm sending out an appeal to classmates. I did manage to receive some news by way of Christmas cards. Wendy Simila Snickenberger is involved in the college search for her oldest son, Alex. Wendy and husband Walt Snickenberger live in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts. Fern Bennett Phillips is in York, Maine. Her oldest daughter, Nani, is at Colby in Waterville, Maine, while younger daughter Jessi is at the Middlesex School. Beyond that, I can only hope that each of you feels motivated to send along whatever news you can.

Looking back 31 years, I wonder what has become of those of us that ended up living in Richardson Hall. I've heard bits and pieces, but nothing concrete. I'd like to think that after seeing your names in print, you might feel motivated to contact me with updates. I was trying to go through and remember all of the '76s assigned to Richardson, and I apologize to those I may neglect to mention. I wonder from time to time if Jeff Broderick now wears winter coats after running around Hanover the winter of '72-'73 in a T-shirt. What has become of my roommate Wayne Lindsay, or floormates Dick Maas, Byron Anderson, Dave Lidstone, Andy Walker, Gary Slack and Sheldon Mirowitz? Bill Charters and Bob Piela shared a room on the third floor, as did Paul Hollingsworth, Jack Graham and the late Mark "The Grabber" Landsberger. The third floor also included Steve Kirsh, Mark Brann, Bill Sinclair and Paul Cane. The first floor was home to Jim Lockyer and Jeff Kirchoff, as well as Kevin Gartner, Mike Reagan and Dave Benedict. Again, apologies to anyone left out, but excuse the rantings of a "newsless" scribe.

Help me out. Pass along news of roommates or hallmates. Just help bail me out. I'm sure many feel that what they're up to won't interest many. Wrong! Give a guy a break!

Best wishes for the new year. On a somber note, I regret to pass along news of the death of Robert Bokuniewicz, who passed away October 21, 2003, from a heart attack. An obituary will appear in a later issue.
