Neel Chatterjee writes, "I figured I would send an e-mail about what I am up to in order to give you an update. The short summary (in reverse chronological order) is that my beautiful daughter, Aria Rose Chatterjee, was born on January 22 of this year. Late last year I filed a nationally recognized lawsuit on behalf of a gay cou- ple seeking to use an adoption Web site who were denied services because they are gay. I became a partner in my law firm (Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe) in 2002. And I was married September 30, 2000.1 also love reality TV". My law practice focuses on intellectual property and on line liability litigation. Among my clients are eBay, Yahoo, Microsoft and Intuit. I was giving a speech at Stanford Law School and Laura Donoghue came in. She has a beautiful daughter and is working as a fellow at Stanford while at the same time going to law school! Mickey Paine got married a few years ago and lives with her husband (who she was dating when she was a 'shwoman) in Bellingham, Washington. She is doing quite well. Jarmal and Pam Richard report that all is well in Melbourne, Australia. Their son, Zachary, turned 3 in February and the venture Jarmal started with Andre Sole, Gait Business Services, is going well.

On January 7 Tom Ryan announced the launch of his newest venture Virtu, an exclusive music subscription service that will publish three unique editions per year. The purpose of Virtu is to foster discovery—music, artist and visual. Check it out at www.virtu.tv.

David and Susan Martosko sent a high-production Christmas card that had more news than I have space unfortunately. Here are the highlights: They were expecting a girl in February, moved into a new home in Burke, Virginia, in the fall of last year, and have been keeping busy at work. David opines on policy issues as the director of research at the Center for Consumer Freedom (look for him on a Penn & Teller program on Showtime) and Susan is a vocalist who performed with the Baltimore Symphony and Tucson Symphony last year.

Proliferation update: "It's been a pretty ex- citing time for my husband and me," writes Lissie Bates-Haus. "The last couple of years have in- cluded ayear apart while I completed my pre-doc- toral internship for Ph.D. in counseling psych, a dissertation defense two days after moving back in together, graduation, a postdoc, buying a con- do in Somerville, Massachusetts, and the birth of our son. Gus joined the Bates-Haus-hold on September 7,2003, at 8 pounds, 4 ounces and 19 inches long, after 48 hours of labor, and is a total love, though we sort of wish he would learn to sleep a little better!" Katherine and Jon Austen welcomed Caleb Mecray (Cal) to the family on January 16. Jen and Goose Khambatta sent news of the birth of Emerson Christopher on February 12.
