Leading off with wedding news, Windsor Salet was married on December 27,2003, to Bo Adams '01. It was a big, southern, Christmas wedding in Atlanta. The list of Dartmouth alums attending this wedding would fill the entire column and it sounds as though it was a fantastic and special weekend for all in attendance! The grooms cake was the hit of the party, as it featured Bos brown (Theta Delt-raised) labrador retriever. The bride and groom honeymooned in St. Kitts, and are now living in Atlanta and are back in school. In engagement news, Carolyn Levine was engaged on December 26 to Jason Lanzetta, whom she met while working at JPMorgan, and the couple is planning a November wedding in Anguilla. Also, Melissa Metzler was recently engaged to Jesse Ryan (Princeton '00), whom she met while working at Mercer in Boston. Congratulations!
Jenny Viele and Lilly Wollman met up for a reunion in the Swiss Alps in the beginning of January for a raucous week. While they were really quite the hit with the British army men, Jenny and Lilly were accompanied by Justin Mandel and DJ, Cornell '94. In a random showing of Dartmouth talent, Rich Dickinson and Brian Nickerson appeared and tore it up on the dance floor at the Farm Club. Sadiq Malik also came through Verbier on his way to visit his mother in Paris.
Devon Bonady wrote: "I am living just out- side Eugene, Oregon, in a small home I built for myself, running off solar electricity. I am in the beginning of my own perennial food plant nurs- ery business, which I hope will eventually be- come a nonprofit educational site as well. I enjoy writing lots of poetry and bicycling for transportation, relaxing and reading all the books I never had time for in college." Also, Jodie Lee wrote in: "Adhering to our rule of seeing each other at least once a year, Dana Neutze and I met up in Madrid this weekend. Dana will soon finish her Ph.D. at Cambridge University and will start medical school in the States this fall. You can see her dancing in the ballroom scene of the Gywneth Paltrow movie Sylvia." After finishing her Peace Corps service last year, Jodie traveled for a month in Europe. She spent the year in Breckenridge, Colorado, waiting for a French visa. In the meantime, she made trips to San Francisco, New England, D.C.Japan and Quebec. Now she's in Paris interning with an organization which focuses on biodiversity and should start grad school in the fall.
John Phinney is currently living in New Zealand, where he's continuing to make up classes in anticipation of attempting to become an architect. "This last weekend I was in Wellington watching the IRB Rugby Sevens tournament, which is one of a series of compe- titions between the top 7s teams in the world. I was able to catch up with Alex Magleby and Kevin Whitcher '99, both of whom were representing the United States (and the redheaded revolution). Anyone who ventures to this part of the world should feel free to get in touch via alum e-mail."
Lastly, Joe LaBracio relocated to L.A. to work as the assistant to the senior VP of alternative series development at CBS, and at the end of 2003, was promoted to an executive position. Joe is working on Survivor, Big Brother, The Amaz-ing Race, Star Search and other projects that are in development. Keeping up with my pop culture know-all, I hear that, not surprisingly, Joe made it into the "Movers and Shakers List" that goes around Hollywood.
