By the time you read this, fall will be enveloping the Hanover hills and the trees along the Connecticut River will have turned to a collage of orange, yellows and reds, reminding us all that another year has passed. With memories of our reunion beginning to fade (and lets be honest, at our age, they fade a bit faster) we have all returned to our own routines. The same is true with the College. Students have invaded the campus as they always do and my back can attest to helping my daughter move into her new housing on the third floor above the Dirt Cowboy. Why don't any of our kids live on the first floor?

From the mailbag comes news from Dale Edmunds. At my prodding, Dale relays the following class news—Ed White and Mark Myers continue their annual traditions of skiing pilgrimages to Chamonix every year, challenging their aging bodies with off-piste adventures with local guides. Mark is in good shape with Ed next to him, since Ed is a well-respected orthopedist practicing in Damariscotta, Maine. For those traveling around Maine, Ed welcomes any 75 visitors and can be reached at ewhite@mileshealthcare.org. In other news, Dale reports that he has mini-reunions of sorts with Buzz Cmaylo and Al Austin in Cotuit down on the Cape each summer.

Peter Hackett has returned to Hanover to become professor and chair of the drama department at Dartmouth after serving as artistic director of the Cleveland Playhouse for many years. Talent runs in the family, as he was in the audience when the musical review Songs for a NewWorld opened last summer, directed by his wife, Carol Dunne.

Robert Ehinger '43, father of Bob Ehinger, sends news about Bob: "Our son, Bob, missed the '75 reunion because he was traveling with his wife on a trip to Stockholm, St. Petersburg, Helsinki and Estonia." Robert reports that Bob won the trip because he was one of Mass Mutual's highest producers. Congratulations, Bob! Robert also reports that at a recent Dartmouth event in Vera Beach, Florida, he sat next to our classmate Richard Pechter. Richard is a cardiologist practicing in Vero Beach.

Thanks for the updates, Robert, and consider yourself a newly signed up foreign correspondent for the class of 1975!

Well that's it for now. I don't think I need to remind anyone to make the most of the last bits of summer and fall—winter wont be far behind. Nancy and I send our best.
