Happy spring. Hope that all classmates are doing well.

Once again, I start my column the night before the deadline. You might have thought that I would have learned at Dartmouth that it is not good to procrastinate, but here I am pecking away hours before the deadline. At least I am typing today on a computer and not on a typewriter with the correct-a-type cartridge.

John DiFiore is living in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. After medical school in New York City at Columbia and residency and fellowship in Boston, John headed out to the Cleveland Clinic to practice pediatric surgery. He does a lot of clinical work, clinical research and teaches pediatric and surgery residents on pediatric surgery rotations. John and his wife, Kristine, have three children, Sarah, 8, and almost-5-year-old twins Nicholas and William. John and his wife met on a ski trip and have made that a family activity—with all three children skiing.John has also taken up golf and occasionally hooks up with classmate Tim Codd for a golf outing. Tim is an orthopedic surgeon (specializing in shoulder injuries) in Baltimore. Tim is married and has a daughter (7).

Anthony "A.J."Fredette is living in Porterville, California. He works for the Amity Foundation, which runs substance abuse programs in prisons in California. He lives with his wife, Annette, and their two sons, Anthony, 12, and Luke, 6. Annette works for the Forest Service. The boys are involved in a host of activities—Boy Scouts, sports, etc. A.J. laments the fact that there is no Dartmouth alumni club in Porterville, where he has been since grad school.

That's all for now.
