Lots of great news this time—but I always seem to have some extra room so keep the updates coming!

After Bill Shields finished his B.E.year at the Thayer School, he and Jodie Zimmerman moved to the beautiful Garden State and now reside in Hoboken, New Jersey. Bill's currently working at Stryker Orthopedics designing artificial hips and Jodie works in special markets at Penguin Group Publishing in Manhattan. The most exciting news to report happened during Homecoming Weekend back at dear old Dartmouth. After reuniting with friends and watching the bonfire, Bill proposed to Jodie on the lawn of Baker Tower. She said yes, and they spent the remainder of the weekend celebrating their engagement with good friends Rob De Simone, Kyle Yamamoto, Will Zimmerman, Brent Jones, Andrea Sea, Charlotte Coultrap-Bagg and Heather Kiefer '04. Bill and Jodie are planning a November 2005 wedding. Congratulations to you both!

Jason Strniste wrote in to say he's enjoying teaching chemistry and coaching the robotics team at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover, New Hampshire. The faculty and students involved have been working until almost 10 p.m. most nights for the past two months but, according to Jason, everyone's had a wonderful time. "It's a great experience for students—many who aren't the straight-A students tend to find success with the technical aspects of the robotics program." The team finished up their robot last week just in time for the competition. Good luck, and keep us posted! Also checking in from up north was Scott Stewart, who has "found a very challenging and exciting position with Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems in Andover, Massachusetts. I'm living in Derry, New Hampshire, and really enjoying myself."

Bill Fay sent this quick update: "I went skiing in Vail with some friends from law school during a recent break, and met up with Anders Hyde for the weekend. Be sure to mention that he is absolutely disgusting on the bumps!" He was also at a party in Hanover recently and mentioned seeing Sara Atwood, Julie Matteini, April Mohns, Brian Lehrman, Amanda Plagge, Janelle Chang and Scott Sadlon.

Word came that Trevor Byrne, a stud on the blue line for four years at Dartmouth, starred in early January with the Peoria Rivermen of the East Coast Hockey League and as a result was recalled to the Worcester Ice Cats, their American Hockey League affiliate. In 10 games with the Rivermen, he posted a staggering 13 plus/minus and registered eight points, impressive for any player, let alone a defenseman. While at Dartmouth Trevor served as captain and became our all-time leader in games played, with 130. Best of luck as you keep working your way up!

Finally, for those of you that enjoy Friendster and The facebook, how about signing up for Dartmouth's in Circle? It's a great way to keep in touch with classmates from all years and make new social and work connections. Find out more information at www.alumni.dartmouth. edu/services/socialnet/login.php. Happy spring, everyone!
