I've heard from many 'Bis during the last couple of months and everybody sounds incredibly busy. John Casaudoumecq checked in from New York City and told me that he was preparing for a get-together with Lee Carson, Geoff Bracken, Jon Bassindale and Kevin Carpenter in about a month and promised to pass along information after that. That was in early March and I haven't heard a word so they must have sworn him to silence.

Kim Young is currently living in Atherton, California, with her husband John Moragne '79, and their three kids: Hutch (14), Tyler (12) and Danielle (9). When I heard from her in February they had just returned from a vacation in Squaw Valley. The next time I spoke with her in April they had returned from a vacation in Hawaii. I am going to start living vicariously through her. Kim left her advertising business some years ago and has become a public school advocate. She said that she ran into Eileen Donahoe recently at the home of Brad Koenig '80.

Speaking of hockey, Bob and I traveled to Chicago last month to watch our sons play in the USA Hockey U-18 National Championship. We were sitting in the stands and looked over to see this big smiling guy sitting nearby with a Faribault, Minnesota, baseball cap on. You got it—Scotty Markman. He had traveled to Chicago with his 15-year-old son to watch some of their friends play in the tournament. He has been refereeing youth hockey games for more than 2 o years and his son plays goalie. Scotty is still one of the friendliest and nicest people that I know and reminds me about how fortunate we were to spend four years at Dartmouth meeting people like him. We also hoped to connect with Bob Higgins while we were in Chicago, but he had taken his family on vacation to Arizona to watch some baseball spring training.

I hope you all have a very relaxing summer!
