Our 65 th reunion has come and gone. A fine time was had by all who were fortunate enough to attend the gathering on the Hanover Plain, where reminiscing was the order of the day. Classmates came from near and far to share stories of undergraduate days and more recent events that involved the careers of'41s. Fond memories of noteworthy classmates deserve note of their passing.

Bob Harvey died in November2oo4- Hewas awarded summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors and was editor-in-chief of The Daily Dartmouth. Aker service in the U.S. Marines Bob joined Kiplinger magazine and then advanced through the Changing Times organization for 31 years, earning the title of editoi/associate publisher. He was active in alumni affairs, including serving as class secretary for many years beginning in 1941.

Louis Alonzo Young was class president from 1940 to 1946 and football captain of the memorable team that upset nationally ranked Cornell despite a fifth-down error by the referee. He was active in Dartmouth alumni affairs serving as class treasurer for 20 years and in 1980 received an Alumni Award.

Charles Guy Bolte died in 1994. Chuck joined the Kings Royal Rifles before Pearl Harbor, was commissioned as a British lieutenant and lost a leg in North Africa. He attended Oxford as a Rhodes scholar, was appointed to the U.S. mission to the United Nations, worked as an editor and vice president of Viking Press, and in 1966 was appointed as vice president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. In 1970 Dartmouth awarded an honorary doctor of humane letters to Chuck.
