I received an e-mail from Lynn Ryder Cain, daughter of Rem Ryder, asking if I could find the location of the St. Paul Episcopal school that Rem attended before Dartmouth. Bill Adams thought that it was Concord, New Hampshire, but that was not the case. Anyone know?
Lynn lives in Billings, Montana, and her husband, Scott, is a PGA pro. They would love to contact any Dartmouths in the area who would enjoy playing with them.
to break 90. I played last week and managed a 45 on nine holes. My hat is off to you, Bill. I couldn't play 18 holes if my life depended on it.
Marvin Rauch sends me very interesting emails involving esoteric research now going on. I have known Marvin since P.S. 39 in far Rockaway, a New York City grammar school that Hal Klein also attended. Another graduate was the physicist Richard Feynman—was Feynman in good company or what?
Ed Reich called to tell me that Mildred is in a coma but now and then manages to bring up a sweet smile, which really touches his heart. He spends a lot of time by her side at the rehab center, which is very important to him. Ed, you are great.
Jack Rubin thinks that he is the only one in the class getting older. Wife Leah fell and broke a hip. Besides that, they think they are the only ones whose memories are getting worse. He asked me to send his best to all of you.
If you still want a newsletter, send news. Helen cannot guess what's going on. Most ofyou feel that what is going on in your lives is not important to your classmates. Not true. You are interested because you are reading this, and rest assured, everyone else is. It makes us all young again. I'm having a drink and I raise my glass to all of you.
