Hi everyone. I hope you are all doing well. Please continue to send in your updates! It's been well over a year since our reunion and I'm sureyou've got new information and stories to share!

Elizabeth Roberts will be making her operatic debut this coming November 4 with the Washington, D.C., National Opera, singing the part of Kate Pinkerton in Pucinni's Madam Butterfly. The performance will be conducted by Placido Domingo. She has a two-year contract with National Opera; you can check out the schedule of performances at www.dc-opera.org/seasoncalendar/operao6butterfly.asp?perf. Before heading to D.C. she will be in the Upper Valley during the summer singing a role in Opera Norths production of Benjamin Britten's AlberHerring.

Joe Scott recently assumed command of Bravo Battery, Ist Battalion, 7th Air Defense Artillery here at Fort Bliss, Texas, in May. Joe is responsible for "untold millions in equipment and the lives of around 70 young soldiers." Also, Alex Sharstis recently graduated from UCLA Anderson School of Management, along with Tim McCann '97 and Jeff Ding '99.

Meghan Sullivan, who's currently at the Albany (New York) School of Medicine, recently rode 50 miles on her bike (along with many other Albany Med students, physicians, nurses and friends) in the American Diabetes Associations annual Tour de Cure fundraising event. Meghan was riding in support of the ADA's mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes, which impacts more than 20 million Americans and growing! Congratulations, Meghan!

Laura Adams finished business school at Kellogg this past spring and accepted a position at Google. Laura is traveling abroad in Australia and New Zealand during the summer, and will then make the move to San Francisco. Laura would love to catch up with any classmates in the Bay Area, so drop her a Blitz!

Lastly, after nine and a half years of dating, Debbie Goodsoe and Mike Rand are engaged. A few of their friends wrote in to share this news, all of whom were thrilled at the news and included "Finally!" in their e-mails! Congratulations!
