Thanks to Penn Frost and his guru Anthony Green, the class of 1944 has its own Web site. This all started in 1998, when Penn attended Webmasters sessions. With the help of Andy Thomas '58 the Web site was launched with a home page, class news and "Bits and Bytes." Later, when Tony Green from Blunt came on board, it was expanded. Now Penn posts immediately new class news items including deaths, serious illnesses and class officer data.Twice a month he updates "Bits and Bytes" with new humor and items of interest. The home page carries the latest College information and lets you click onto the updated new addresses, phone numbers, e-mail and other data that the class and College might need. Reunion information is printed, both for the minis and major reunions plus the mini in Florida for each year. The site also contains motel, hotel, B & Bs and restaurants in the Hanover area.

Penn does a remarkable job keeping the Web site current and interesting. Our president Bill McElnea and classmates appreciate the scope of Penn's responsibilities and activities. All of this requires a great deal of work on his part, but we wouldn't expect less from an alumnus so closely connected to the College. The Frost family has a long and distinguished history with Dartmouth that not many alumni in any class could match. Penn's grandson, C.E Frost VI, is attending Dartmouth now. He is the sixth generation in a row to do so. Besides the string of C.P Frosts there were brothers and cousins along with two uncles affiliated with Dartmouth, one an English professor and the other an architect who designed Baker Library, Amos Tuck School, Thayer School, Thayer dining hall and many dorms. Do yourself a favor and log onto www.dartmouth. org/classes/44/ and enjoy.

Penn has one favor to ask of everyone. Please notify him of any changes of address, both street and e-mail, deaths in the family and news of other classmates.

We regret to report the deaths of Donald Arthur Comes Jr., John Brant Eaton, Matthew James Finn, Col. Howard George Johns, George Henry Troxell Jr. Our condolences to all their families and classmates.
