I have an early reminder for you: We are again having a mini-reunion. The dates are October 18,19 and 20. Tom Adams and I are putting together a program (mostly the work of Tom) and details will come to you shortly. Some news from Bob and Jackie Kimball. As previously reported, they are now permanent Arizona residents. Jackie reports a bit of nostalgia every time she receives something from Hanover Dartmouth. I can imagine the feeling because they lived in Hanover from 1963 to 2005. For years their house on South Park Street was headquarters for a fall party—actually the precursor (how about that word!) of our present-day mini-reunions. Larry Bartnick checks in from Locust Grove, Virginia, plays tennis two to three times a week. Don't know how good he is at that but as you may recall he was one of '46's outstanding allaround athletes. Long-retired as a school super- intendent. I want to share something with you. I've been your secretary for several years and have tried to share things with you concerning our classmates. One thing I haven't done is to report the deaths of wives. Some have been critical of this. I have tried to write to many about their loss and were I to report all, I'm sure I'd miss some. Please try to understand and keep in mind I'm limited to 350 words. I'll discuss this further with Adams and see what we can do in our newsletters. With sadness I must inform you of the deaths of these classmates: Julian Cohen on February 8; Robert Goldman on February 23; Thomas F. Blake, M.D., on November 13,2006; Ross Bacon on January 1; and Robert C. Beethem on April 11. We extend our deepest sympathy to their families.
