Abit difficult finding some of you. Its still "vacation" time sol guess you're touring the world. I'm no one to complain. So far this year to Costa Rica, Florida (twice), St. Bart's and due to go down the Po River to Venice in May. Spoke to Buol Hinman. He and Joan just back from three months in their Venice, Florida, home. While there he attended a Florida Dartmouth party (hosted by 1945). Also in attendance were Bob Clifton and wife Dorothy. The Cliftons now call Naples, Florida, their legal residence. I hope they can vote! I called Sue Johnson after learning that our Sam Johnson had died in March this year. Sue is in Buffalo and a close friend of Rosemary Marlette, also a Buffalo resident. I talked with another former class president, Jud Hannigan. He and Grace still holding forth at Kittery Point, Maine. Jud getting ready for his golf and otherwise relaxing. Tried to get our prez Walt Snickenberger but no luck. Also reached out for Bob Jones and Ben Moats. Will track them down next time. For those of you in the metropolitan New York-New Jersey area, I recommend a visit to the Jersey City Museum, where the theater is named for Caroline L. Guarini. She is the mother of our own Frank Guarini. Frank was honored by the museum as a generous contributor and for allowing the use of his mothers name. I want to thank Bob Levinson, personally, and for all of you, for his recent substantial donation to the class of 1946 treasury. Head agent Tom Adams reports we are on target for our $110,000 goal for this year's Alumni Fund. Close-out date is June 30, so please make your gift before then. A reminder that our mini-reunion is October 28, 29 and 30. A football game will feature the Big Green and Harvard. Details will follow from John McClintock. I report with sadness the deaths of classmates Willard F. Brown (January 10); Robert G. Herd (December 29, 2003); Homer B. Lingo (January 28,2003), James L. Lucey (January 11); Bernard C. Wexler (January 29); Robert C. Sanderson (February 15); Myron Stein, M.D. (March 29); and as above mentioned, Samuel G. Johnson (March 24). We extend our deepest sympathy to their families.
