It is August—approximately one month until the 70th reunion. The following have indicated they will be "returning home" for this remarkable event: Dave Duffy, Fred Holling worth, Jack Karr, George Kingsbury, Win Mayo, Bob South worth, Phil Thompson, Gene Waggaman, Runnie Colie and widows Alice Tolles, Alice Lane and yours truly—all accompanied by spouse, significant other or family and friends. I am passing along good wishes from the Rev. Bob Harvey, Bob Mussey and Adrian Weiss wanting to be with us physically, but truly with us in spirit. It goes without saying that all of the members of the class of 1938 will be with us in spirit accompanied by many unforgettable past memories back from 1934 to the present. Next column will tell of the actual events. Among the activities will be a class meeting and a memorial service. There will be a special letter dedicated to the reunion that will be sent to all members of the class indicating what transpired during the class meeting—also, a memento from this event will be forwarded under separate cover.
Word has been received of the passing of the Rev. Tel Mook and Luke Nims. All members of the class of 1938 will be/were remembered at the memorial service at the reunion.
As the holiday season approaches, may I take this time to first and foremost thank all of you just for who you are—and I wish you a holiday filled with blessings, good health and happiness.
