Only Felix and Rae Lilianthal provided news of their health and happiness in N.Y.C. Felix had some minor skin surgery that prevented his joining the snowbirds as they descended on Sarasota, Florida. Don Stillman had a cervical fusion operation in early January, a four-hour procedure that involved the fusing of his vertebrae with a platinum plate. Pat and Don will welcome their daughters presence after they move to a retirement home in Vero Beach, Florida.

Our class president Chip Deming is in good shape on Lyme Road, Hanover. He continues to enjoy skiing in the area and also helps his wife, Vida, get around the house since she broke her hip in December. Bill Hotaling lost his wife Jean, on October 17, 2007. She left a legion of friends and loved ones. The class of 1941 suffered a great loss, as Jean touched the lives of many.

Stacey Hili reported from way out west in Wilsonville, Oregon. He doesn't play tennis or golf anymore and he uses a cane for walking, but he sounded to be in good spirits. Stace confessed that his usual fancy Christmas card was overcome by more urgent doings, such as family birthdays and weddings. The Hills can be excused when you figure that Stace and Kay have four children of their own and five more from a deceased sister. Pete Keir up in Alexandria, Virginia, plays tennis on a regular basis and he joins a group of Dartmouth '42s for lunch.
