The climax of our season came on Saturday evening, April 6, when more than 600 local alumni and friends paid their way thru the doors of Hillside Auditorium in Montclair to hear the Glee Club perform the last concert - and a superb effort it was - of its 1957 spring tour.

The Club, its various soloists and The Injunaires, were all in rare form and later at a local spot known as the Three Crowns, the boys continued their efforts in song. The evening's proceedings, with much credit due ticket chairman Andy Murtha '46, enabled us to send a sizeable contribution to The College, for the general Scholarship Fund.

On Tuesday May 14, another of our lesstouted. but altogether important functions took place. This is the annual service function, at which we entertain the newly accepted freshmen and their parents. Members of our board are present to answer questions about life at the College. As usual, the movies of the College were well received, as were the refreshments which came later.

Before this gets into print, we will have capped another season with what has become a tradition - and one of our most looked-forward-to events, the annual picnic. Meantime, happy summer to all and see you next fall.
