The schedule of activities planned by the class for all of us attending our “Get Back!” 40th reunion is now available on the ’69 Web site. Go there to see the action-filled three days we have for June 15 through June 17. Available to us are tennis and golf, multiple receptions, several meals at different campus locales, a lot of socializing and a street dance with music by Flash Cadillac. There will also be seminars and Dean of the College Tom Crady will speak to us. This is merely what the class has planned. We will also have numerous College-planned events so the days and nights will be filled.

Peter Schaeffer writes to inform us that he will be attending in June and has been applying pressure on people we occasionally hear from, but rarely see, guys such as Bill Greenwood, Scott Balcomb and Steve Harris to do likewise.

I discovered at the 35th reunion that several of our classmates had been married for more than 30 years. I can now add one who is nearly 30 years into that lifestyle. John Lallis married Maureen Foley and the two have nine children, with only three of them on their own and, in John’s words, “I wish they were all still at home.” He is teaching history of popular music at Bernards High School in Bernardsville, New Jersey. John is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers and has signed with Warner Brothers, having a book and lyrics to three musicals to his credit. His latest work Star Bright! is based on a book by Andrew Greeley.

David Boyle reports from Austin, Texas, that he is doing chief financial officer work and handling the strategic business side of a company providing SAT preparation for lowincome kids. It is a small company, providing a refreshing lifestyle change for David along with the opportunity for year-round golf in the Texas Hill County.

Having just visited the class Web site I urge you to check out the video complete with a ’69 version soundtrack of Get Back! This video and access to reunion information do not require you to log in, and you will learn a lot about who is attending and what will be happening.

If you are in contact with any of your classmates who have expressed interest in the reunion or even if they indicate they do not plan to attend, please pass their names on to one of the class officers and we will make a special effort to contact them and urge their participation in what will be an enjoyable, worthwhile event.

As always, Allen Denison and I are eager to hear from you.
