College Makes Cuts

The College eliminated more than 150 positions and laid off 60 employees as part of the February budget- slashing.Among those let go was Dean of First-year Students Gail Zimmerman, whose department will be restructured later this year. The College did not eliminate any faculty jobs. Local media and letter writers to the Valley News criticized the College for not designating any of its top money-earners for pay cuts.
