Joseph G. Edgerly, retired superintendent of the Fitchburg (Mass.) schools, was the guest of honor at the Fitchburg Normal School December 3, when a program was given to commemorate the anniversary of his entrance into school teaching. Mr. Edgerly began his career as an educator in a New Hampshire town sixty years ago. For almost twenty-five years he was superintendent at Fitchburg.
