THE NATURAL POWER OF THINGS. April, showers. May, flowers. June, reunion. Momentum is building, and from all traditional indicators, this 55th gathering of the clan is going to be as well attended as it is well planned. But there's always room for more. So if you've already signed up to join the group, welcome aboard. If you're steering on the brink, fall in on the side of fun and fellowship. If you have actually decided you can't make it, exercise a woman's prerogative: have your wife or significant other change your mind for you. For really, no one should miss what the poet John Dryden called "A very merry, dancing, drinking, laughing, quaffing, and unthinking time."

PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE. The Boerkers, Al and Claudia, have it all. With their home in historic Manassas, Va., as their base, they sortie to various battlefields in and around the area, walking with the shadows of the past, evoking echoes and images of the chivalry and gallantry of years gone by. One memorial of particular interest honors one of Claudia's relatives, Fletcher Webster, son of the renowned Daniel Webster so dear to Dartmouth hearts.

At present the Boerkers report being in good shape. They get up to their seasonal home in New Hampshire ever; summer, where they regularly see Carl ,Seidensteucker and, occasionally, Charlie Hitchcock, who visits Hanover on Tuck School Business. The future? Let Al clue you personally. He and Claudia plan to be in Hanover for our reunion.

BROWNIEPOINTS. His office hours are down to one day a week, but Harris("Charlie" or "Brownie" Brown) is still in general practice, though doing a little less anesthesiology than formerly. Skiing and playing tennis, sports which he wishes he had taken up at an earlier age, Brownie manages to keep in touch with Parker Holden.

Charlie ranks reunion as a "possible" because he has a potential conflict. For some 30 years now, he has had a standing date in June to go fishing—always at the same camp. But there are no flies on Charlie. If he catches enough early enough, he may have other fish to fry. In Hanover.

ONE LINER. In generally good shape and living the quiet life in Oak Park, Ill., is JohnArmour. John's been retired since 1981. Sounds like the good life as well.

GUNG HO. A more active guy than JackReichardt would be hard to find. When he's not skiing (he skies with the elan of a youngster, but revels in doing it as a freebie thanks to senior citizen status), he's riding horseback with equal verve, two or three times a week. He also has a couple of business projects going to fill up his spare time.

Jack and Libby celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last November in the city by the Golden Gate. At this writing Jack and Libby are in Costa Rica for a month of sun (great) and no skiing (bummer).
