Who are cheerfully contemplating life at the President's House, the gift of Edward Tuck '62. Ann is enrolled as a student in the seventh grade of the Hanover Grade School and Ernest Martin Hopkins is in his thirteenth year as President of Dartmouth. Ann's father holds degrees from eleven colleges, beginning with an A. B. from Dartmouth in 1901 and the most recent is the LL. D. given him by Harvard University in June, 1928. Ann has her degrees yet to look forward to but she is not worrying about them.

President Hopkins was the principal speaker at the Pow Wow in Chicago, November 23. He addressed the alumni at a dinner the evening before the Northwestern game. On the program were also addresses by Dean Laycock, Professor Leland Griggs and Senator George H. Moses.
