The Barrett Cup

Dartmouth's greatest single honor goes each year to that senior whom the upperclassmen choose as most likely to succeed in the outside world and to whom is awarded the Barrett Cup. Honored this year was Harold Ellsworth Booma of Swampscott, Mass., member of Palaeopitus, Sphinx, Green Key, football, baseball and hockey. Upperclassmen in choosing this recipient select their man always more for his popularity than his possible career, but we imagine that their requirements are as good as any.
