The class will be shocked to learn of the sudden death of Mathew Rock, which occurred December 20 at his home, Bayside, L. I. Only a few weeks ago, the Secretary received a nice letter from "Dutch," stating that he had been on a fishing trip up in Canada, which he had thoroughly enjoyed, and reported himself to be in the best of health. Dutch died suddenly of heart failure, and I know the class joins with the Secretary in expressing their sincere grief to Mrs. Rock and the two children, Matthew, Jr. and Florence. In the next number of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE will appear the obituary notice of his passing.
