Peter Federici writes of Roger Faix's marriage to Sheryl Eggeman. Roger graduated from Cornell Medical College in 1975 and is now a senior resident in pediatrics at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. Sheryl is from Grand Rapids and is a nurse at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the University of Michigan. They will move in July to Durham, N.C., where Roger will be doing a fellowship in neonatology at Duke. JonSpingarn flew from Atlanta to attend the wedding. He received his Ph.D. last year from the University of Washington in Seattle and is now an assistant professor of mathematics at Georgia Tech.
Peter also writes that he visited MikeDePetrillo last November. Mike is an anesthesia resident at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and his wife Lillian is a nurse practitioner in New York City. Also last November, Peter visited Peter and MissyWalkley in Hanover. Missy is working for the College in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program and Peter is chief medical resident at Hitchcock Hospital.
Peter writes that following graduation from Dartmouth Medical School he spent three years in Syracuse, N.Y., as a general surgery resident and is now living in Ann Arbor, Mich., where he is in the first year of a three-year program in urology.
Murry Bowden and wife Polly had a baby boy, Brandt Cogdell, on February 9, with the new arrival weighing in at eight pounds one ounce. The Bowdens are living in west Texas where Murry is involved in real estate and oil and gas development.
Mike Hayden and his wife are the proud parents of their first child, a baby boy, Wesley Patrick, born February 1.
Tony Russell and his wife Linda had a daughter, Anika Anthoni Russell, on Christmas Day, 1977. Tony is a pediatric resident in Los Angeles.
Jerry Mick and his wife are the proud parents of a son, Jess Stewart Mick, born October 23, 1977. John and Gay Lippman are the parents of a baby daughter, Sarah Rosanne, born September 30, 1977. The Lippman's dog Duke is also an expectant father, with the new arrivals due in April. John was just promoted to news and public affairs director of one of the local television stations in Seattle.
Jon Wolston is doing the second year of his psychology residency in Chicago at the Northwestern Medical Center. Tom Price is back at Harlem Hospital-Columbia Medical Center serving as resident in internal medicine. Frank Watkins is an orthopedic resident at the Hospital for Joint Diseases.
Gerald Strassberger recently opened an office for the practice of periodontics in Norwalk, Conn. David Pallotta is practicing dentistry in Pittsfield, Maine, and living on a 30-acre farm in Detroit, Maine (population 600).
Mark Belionby is living in Washington, D.C., where he is a licensed architect and wife Carol is a high-school art instructor. They are presently in the process of designing their own house to be built on a wooded lot in northern Virginia.
Mac Barrett is about to begin his third season as a public relations man for the Baltimore Orioles. Bill Orosz is working for The Savill Companies in Indianapolis, Ind. Married last September, Bill and his wife are expecting a child late in September this year.
Finally, Dick and Ruth Wenzel have moved once again and are now living in Newark, Cal. They are planning to return to Donner Summit later this month with John Keller for more skiing. John is working for an engineering consulting firm in Walnut Creek, Calif. Dick is continuing with the Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) while Ruth continues her nursing in the Menlo Park Medical Clinic.
