INTRAMURALS AGAIN

Several comments from the outside world on athletics offer us another opportunity to speak of Dartmouth's intramurals. From Yale come the words of President Angell that he is awaiting with enthusiasm the expected growth of intramural athletics there. From Colgate comes the plan of Dr. Cutten whereby athletes would receive credit toward their A.B. degree. We wish to comment on the fortunate position of Dartmouth. Here intramurals have become a recognized part of our everyday life. We take it for granted that every few weeks we will participate in some sport for fraternity, dormitory or class. We are not athletes, we are just having a good time. We look at the men on the varsity teams as fellows who like one sport better than the others and who are also having as good a time if not a better one.
