Barton was listed last June, on the Commencement program at the University of Illinois, as master of ceremonies. He spent a portion of the summer at Bay View, Mich., accompanied by his daughter.

The death is reported in June, 1932, of Mrs. Marion Blake Campbell, former educator and leader in amateur dramatics. She was the widow of Dr. Alfred H. Campbell, a member of the class of '76 in 1872-3, and a graduate of the class of '77.

A son, William Brewster Ely, was born to Dr. and Mrs. Richard T. Ely, July 1, 1932. "We named him after William Brewster, a leader of the Mayflower colony andan early ancestor of his."

Rev. and Mrs. Theodore C. Hunt, Riverside, Calif., celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage July 20. With them for the event were their three sons. Two of the sons motored West, bringing their families. They are Gerald W. Hunt of Guttenberg, lowa, lawyer and bank president in his home city, who brought with him his wife and son Robert, and Hale M. Hunt, who is in the insurance and real estate business in Ogallala, Neb., accompanied by Mrs. Hunt and their son Harold and daughter Geraldine. The third son, Harold C. Hunt, who is proprietor of the Canoga Park Lumber Company, near Los Angeles, was present with his wife and two daughters, Virginia and Margaret. In the evening Mr. and Mrs. Frank A Miller (of the Mission Inn) entertained the company at dinner in honor of the happy occasion.

Hay's latest address is Hendersonville, N. C.

Dr. and Mrs. Frank P. Hill were at Dublin, N. H., for August and a portion of September. There was a celebration of Hill's birthday, August 22. Present for the event was a fitting delegation from the five surviving children and fifteen grandchildren. Piper's summer home was next house; naturally visits back and forth were frequent.

Stimson has retired from active service subject to call, however, for special duties. For four years he has "commuted" between his La Jolla, Calif., home and Denver, some years making as many as five round trips.
