With the latter half of April a new D. O. C. council takes office. Elections were made the week after vacation and the new directors were installed at the annual Cabin and Trail banquet at the Outing Club House. R. P. Goldthwait '33 of Hanover, N. H., director of trips, was chosen as chairman on the council for the coming year. Other new directors for 1932-33 are: director of cabins and shelters, J. W. Brayley '33, New Bedford, Mass.; director of Carnival, E. K. Sayre '33, Essex Fells, N. J.; director of forestry and trails, D. Kirkham '33, Simsbury, Conn.; director of membership and instruction, R. W. Burbank '33, Harlingen, Texas; director of secretariate, E. C. Gordon Jr. '33, Hanover, N. H.; director of winter sports, E. S. Lord '33 Glen Ridge, N. J. The former departments of cabins and trails, and shelters, it will be noticed have been reorganized to form the departments of cabins and shelters, and forestry and trails.

The final phase of the freshman competition for Cabin and Trail came to an end at the time of the council elections when eleven members were chosen in the first elections from the class of 1935. These eleven include: E. R. Dann, Richmond Hill, N. Y.; G. G. Elsenhans, Camp Hill, Pa.; H. Hormel, West Roxbury, Mass.; W. S. Lingley, Hanover, N. H.; J. L. Morrison, South Orange, N. J.; N. F. Roberts, Denver, Colo.; L. G. Rockwell, Greenwich, Conn.; D. K. Saunders, Westbrook, Me.; J. P. Thomas, Milwaukee, Wis.; F. B. Tomlinson, Bridgeport, Conn.; A. L. Washburn, Hanover, N H.
