THE SUNDAY AFTERNOON party at "Chippie" Semmes' '13 Freres Farm was a roaring success. Wives, children, and friends present. Chippie has a farm in the fox-hunting area near Washington; he and Duke Keegin '24 are hunters. Everyone inspected the horses. Remodeled barn serves as a fine clubhouse with largest fireplace ever. Buffet lunch, barrels of brew, close harmony, etc. A distinctive and different party. .... Dartmouth Night celebrated with a crowd of eighty-odd. Andy Gustafson came up from his real estate office at Virginia Beach and gave an interesting talk on the football situation, illustrated by fine movies of the games last fall. A great guy, Andy The Pontiac broadcast from the campus came in fine. .... Annual elections held F. Stirling Wilson '16, president; Fred L. The committee on the glee club concert is working hard getting ready for April first, when the concert will be held at the Washington Hotel. They report that tickets are moving. Last year gave us something to shoot at when Page Worthington led the hard work Winnie Hobbs is chairman this year, and working like a beaver, with a fine committee of Lyon '33, Worthington '33, McCoy '18, and Sullivan '36 Note how often some of these names appear in working jobs .... that's what keeps the Association moving. .... The monthly dinner in March turned out to be an A. T. O. dinner, with Paul Leach '32, Lou Schuh '29, Bill Woodruff '31 and Wilson 'l6 answering the bell with the Manhattans Plans afoot now to hold our annual dinner on the 23rd of April, with Prof. "Cheerless" Richardson as speaker .... no better Dartmouth man living than Cheerless Charlie Milham, of Williamsburg, Va., writes the Virginia alumni are holding a dinner March 30 ... . sorry the press of business on the concert will prevent us invading the old Dominion One of our alumni here just turned the last cornerHarold F.
