Don Hunt, president of the Shaw Furniture Company of 50 Second Street, Cambridge, Mass., is bringing out a line of custom made upholstered furniture. Bill Sleigh who was formerly associated with Nutter, McClennen and Fish has hung out his own shingle at 24 School Street, Boston, and has as his partner Fosdick P. Harrison. Your Secretary had Bill do a small job for him on one occasion and was impressed with the quick and efficient manner it was turned out.

Line Davis spent the night in Center Ossipee recently. He was on his way home from Hanover where he had spent a day or so at a mathematicians' convention. Line started to give a play by play report of what took place, but it was way way way over my head.

Jack Reeder, Vice President and former Manager of the Detroit office of Young and Rubicam has been shifted to New York to become Manager of the contact department of that office. He will continue to supervise the Packard account that his firm handles.

The Lyle McKowns' and the Bob Borwells' had an informal reunion in Chicago recently. Another Chicago visitor was Bud Petrequin who was attending a paper convention.

While travelling on leave this year, Bob McKennan looked up A 1 Bickford in New Orleans and had lunch with him.

George Scott is now a member of the Dartmouth faculty, being an assistant professor of education.

The Alex Laings have a son, born a couple of months ago.

On their vacation trip, the Bob McKennans' hit New Orleans, Gautemala, and New Mexico. The trip was broken by the) death of Dean Laycock.

Dick Holden spent three weeks in August at Camp Devens at the business men's training camp. Then he attended two conventions of the Columbian National Life Insurance Company.

Bob Weinig is now in Sioux City, lowa, where he is Vice President and General Manager of the Wincharger Corporation. In case you don't know what a Wincharger is, it is the busy little windmill on top of barns, off the electric lines. They spin when there is no wind, or so it seems.

Paul Hexter shipped to Ed Hewitt a record made on his new "Novachord." Paul also put in a session at the businessmen's training camp this summer. Paul, where in thunder is that copy of your book, Make Your Pictures Sing that you promised to mail me?

Lou Kimball and Fred Smith were in Hartford recently, busy Frigidairing. When seen they were testing the cooling equipment at the bar at the Hotel Bond.

The A. C. C. Hill's have purchased a splendid home in the Tokeneke section of Darien.

Sully Sullivan is just back from a trip to Des Moines in connection with his position as Assistant Comptroller of the Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company.

Will McLaughlin is the father of a son, born out in Corvallis, Oregon, where he is in the soil conservation service.

Phil Coykendall has been called to active duty in the navy and makes his home now at 1520 N. 17th St., Arlington, Va.
