Hi gang! For those of you who attended reunion, wasn't it a fantastic time? Here's a shout out to the reunion committee for organizing the big weekend. We expect to see all of you in five years for our next big party.

Also, congratulations to John Barros, executive director of the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative. The amazing work that John and DSNI have done to revitalize the Dudley area of Roxbury/North Dorchester in Boston was featured on the front page of the Boston Herald's February 27 issue. John and DSNI have transformed the 1.5-square-mile neighborhood that was once 21 percent vacant into a revived and thriving neighborhood. Working with the community, DSNI was able to transform the vacant land into 500 homes, two community centers, numerous playgrounds, gardens and public spaces. Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and local residents have applauded the tremendous work that John and DSNI have done to affect the day-to-day lives of neighborhood residents. John is now working on the commercial revitalization of the neighborhood, including setting up a 10,000-square-foot greenhouse for DNSI to grow crops for sale. You can read all about John and DSNI's good work at www.dsni.org.

That's all I have for this issue. Feel free to email me and share any news, including any reunion stories. Have a great summer!
