Dewey Gruenhagen '21 was in charge of arrangements, and retiring President Ed. Lynch '23 acted as Toastmaster with the able assistance of Jack Norton 'OB. Dean Bill's interesting talk was enthusiastically received. Dartmouth songs were sung and another splendid Annual Meeting became history.
The Glee Club and Barbary Coast Orchestra provided one of the high lights in Dartmouth activities here in the North-west at their concert on April 9 at the Lyceum Theatre, Minneapolis. Their excellent program left an appreciative audience longing for more, and received high praise from the local music critics.
Henry Thrall '06 was General Chairman of arrangements for the concert. He and his committee are to be congratulated on their outstanding job of selling this event to the Northwest. He was assisted by Mrs. John B. Faegre, Chairman of Hostesses, and Paul Hommeyer '25 arrangements, Lyle McKown '25, ticket sales, C. E. Whitney '24, Publicity. Others assisting were Stuart Seidl '30, Steve Osborn '27, Bob Gibson '39, Bobb Chaney '35, Bill Cash '37, James Vaughan '05, Bob Stone '35, Ted Gaver '23, John Faegre '37, Wally Fisher '37, George Hoke '35, Lyman Wakefield '33 and Ed Lynch '23.
A meeting of the newly elected officers and executives was held at the home of John Mulally '05, 1364 Summit Avenue, St. Paul on Wednesday, May 1. Our newly elected member of the Alumni Council, "Hap" Atwood '13, also attended. In addition to routine business the date for our annual picnic was set for June 26 (Wednesday), and Ed Lynch was appointed Chairman of the Arrangements Committee.
