HANOVER IS BEAUTIFUL IN JUNE On Friday, December 13th, at 6:13 P.M. 169 irreverent gentlemen sat down to dinner at 13 tables in room 13 at the Merchants and Manufacturers Club, Chicago. The most irreverent of all the guests was the President, Nat Leverone. As one of the founders of the Anti-Superstition Society, Nat has been most active in exploding superstitions that annually cost this country an inexcusable sum of time and money. Nat opened the meeting by kissing a black cat and smashing a looking-glass with a hammer.

Members of the class will be shocked to learn of the sudden death of Bert Spencer on January 23rd.

Ray Butterfield has moved from Hinsdale, N. H. to 18 Dexter Street, Maiden, Mass.

A note from Harold Rugg advises that Harry and Florence Higman of Seattle, became grandparents shortly before Christmas. The father, Chester Higman, is a teacher in the University of Washington.

Clyde Souter and his wife were in Hanover last summer for the first time since he graduated. I understand that the place looked so strange to him that he had to hire a guide to pilot him across the campus.

I wonder if anyone in the class can beat Earle St. Clair's record of 35 years with the same company? Probably his closest rival is Jesse Gage, who has been teaching at Blair Academy for 29 years.

Members of the class will be glad to know that Ralph Fitts has recovered sufficiently to leave the hospital.

Most of the class undoubtedly know that Willis Howe is located in Guatemala. It was news to me however to learn that he is the Technical Adviser to the Treasury Department of that Republic. Willis says that Guatemala is probably the only country in the world in which a million dollars is regarded with respect.

A letter from Max Norton, Bursar of the College, advises that Russell Sage Hall has been assigned to 1906 for its Reunion in June. Rooms are available from 8 A.M. Friday, June 13 th through Monday 11 A.M. June 16th, at the rate of $4.00 per person for the period. All reservations must be made direct with the Bursar.

To date less than half of the Class have returned the questionnaire. Those of you who are going to do it tomorrow sit down and do it today.
