Paul Gordon writes from Cleveland that Ted Hubbell has, a handsome son about a year old and that in Florida Doug Gorton landed a six-foot sailfish of which he is very proud. It surveys, from the wall of his office, all the other nautical and golfing trophies and photos which beguile the insurance prospects of Doug. Thanks for the news, Paul.

Photographic analysis of some unexplored visual phenomena by William A. Gardener '24 has been reprinted from the February issue of the Journal of the Optical Society of America.

A nice letter from Charlie Wood who runs Wood's Lakeside Lodge on Schroon Lake, N. Y., where he can accommodate sixty. The lodge is on the American Plan and has been running for 25 years. The lake is well stocked with bass, lake trout, great northern pike and landlocked salmon. Charlie says there is plenty to do at all times. He also has an insurance agency which fits in very nicely with his other work. Charlie and Mrs. Wood have three children, Catherine 10, Peter 8, and Susan 3. Thanks a lot for your interesting letter. The folder on Charlies' lodge sounds so good that I would like to go up and spend a week with him sometime.

Hobey Holbrook writes "of course you wouldn't expect a long letter from a busy tired schoolmaster but for the record I'd like to let you know that Susan 3 now has her second sister, born April 24, 1941, at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, Charis Richardson Holbrook. The creek this winter almost washed away the lumber for the new nursey. Best wishes." Congratulations, Hobey, and thanks for your card from California.

Come on 1934 and hit the bullseye for the Alumni Fund's special 25th anniversary. Do a good job for the college, the class and Prexy. All together
