Baltimore

ED STAFFORD '11, our representative on the Alumni Council, came over from Washington for our January meeting, and after the usual dinner, gave us a fine talk on Dartmouth in the present national emergency. All present listened to the talk with great interest and also enjoyed making or renewing acquaintance with the speaker. At this meeting we had as guests six boys who hope to enter Dartmouth in the near future. Our good friend Chick Burke '23 has left us, transferred to Springfield, Mass., and we shall miss him greatly. He has been one of our loyal "regulars" ever since he came to Baltimore. His duties as entertainment chairman have been taken over by Jim Lund '20.
