At the New York Dartmouth Dinner, the Class was well represented by the following: Andy Phelps, Hugh Eaton, Connie Snow, Les Snow, Ned Whittemore, Carl Rollins, Charlie Gately, Jim Steen, Irv Goss, Garry Garrison, Eddie Mitchell, Randy Burns, Unc Bellows, Doc O'Connor and Roily Linscott. Your acting secretary missed the dinner because he was laid up at home with strep bugs in his throat.
Jim Oneal reports that he is "now hard at work with California Institute of Technology on 100% war work."
The Boston papers recently carried a picture showing Ray Cabot discharging his functions as chairman of the Newton Chapter of the American Red Cross at its graduation exercises.
San Lovell is now with the O.S.S. at Washington, living at 532 20th Street N.W., Washington, D. C. Lt. Col Dick Plumer reports a new home address at Plymouth, N. H. However, he is still in the Signal Corps at Washington under Col. Connie Snow's command and recently underwent an operation for appendicitis from which he has completely recovered.
Bill Shapleigh writes from Portland, Me.: "Feel stuck far out in the woods. Vox clamantis, etc. No one of the gang ever leaves the U. S. A. for the State of Maine. Am Deputy Chief Aid Raid Warden for Portland, also Chairman Portland Salvage Committee. Other than that I try to pay my taxes and buy bonds but may have to return to the Army to make a living."
SECOND GENERATION IN SERVICE .... Henry Van Dyne's son, Edward, is a corporal in the Weather Squadron of one of the Air Forces somewhere in North Africa.

Prudence Wellman is an ensign in the WAVES and is not in the WAAC as heretofore erroneously reported Tex Morris Jr. '36 was recently appointed as Assistant Attorney General of California in which position he will remain until his induction in a month or so Bill Butler's boy, David, who graduated from high school last June, is now Pfc. working as radio supervisor with the Marines at Camp Elliot, Cal Dick Remsen Jr. '42 was commissioned an ensign in the Navy School at Columbia last month and is now in training at the Submarine Chaser Training Center at Miami, Florida 2nd Lt. Wilfred R. Shrigley Jr., Harvard '43, is a pilot in the Army Air Force Joe Doyle's son, Joseph T. Doyle, Harvard '39, graduated on March 1 from Harvard Medical School with the Class of '43 and started his internship with the Harvard Unit at Boston City Hospital on April 1. On completion of his internship he will enter the Army Medical Corps. Joe's daughter, Ann, a senior at Russell Sage College, Troy, N. Y., has announced her engagement to Styrk G. Reque Jr., of Schenectady, N. Y.
Hal Belcher writes: "Not much different doing with me. Same old job, same family except for grandson No. 3. The married son who was ex-'3B has moved to Melrose about a mile from us, so we see quite a bit of his family. It makes me feel quite like a patriarch to have kids call me 'grand POP.'"
Puddle Pond recently had the misfortune of breaking his wrist quite badly when he fell while doing some work around the house.
On April 1 Harry Wanner entered Headford Bros. & Hitchins Foundry Company, Waterloo, lowa, as President. Thus, after ten years, he is again active as a manufacturer in the foundry business. For the past year he was in charge of foundries in seven states for OPA.
Red Whitney's Alumni Fund communication from Boss Geller finally caught up with him at LaCrescenta, Cal., where Red was "just rambling as usual."
