News is (are) scarce this month.

As you read this, the Big Green football team is in the final stages of what most experts predicted would be a successful season. But it was written on the eve of the first game, before any of the excitement, the successes and disappointments, the weekend get-togethers. We hope to have more reports on these next month.

The Class Executive Committee met at the Woodstock Inn on the weekend of the Dartmouth-Brown game, with a meeting held Saturday morning before '47s adjourned for the game.

Class President Frank Weber reported in advance of the weekend that he had met with Dick Hollerith, outgoing class treasurer, and Norm Fink, his successor, and was pleased to announce that a "surplus" of approximately $850 was being added to the class treasury as a result of the 25th Reunion.

The football team has its share of loyal '47 rooters, but few more fervent than Tedand Gail Clark who hardly ever miss a game.

Dick Shribman is well into his first term as president of the Salem, Mass., Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a trustee and assistant treasurer of Salem Hospital, a trustee of Salem Savings Bank and vice president of the Salem YMCA.

For the eighth time, F. Richard Hill Jr. has earned membership in the President's Club of the National Life Insurance Co. of Vermont. Representing the Manchester, N. H., general agency, he is also in demand as a speaker on life insurance.

Recognition should be given to John F.Day who has formed a new business in Hartford called Facilities Planning Group which is affiliated with Louis J. Drakos Associates, Inc., architects and planners.

Don't be shy, '47s. Please send news about yourselves.
